Jackie Chan is an international Martial artist and actor having a unique blend of impressive martial arts and screwball physical comedy. he was born in Hong Kong, China on April 7, 1954. When he was 7 years old, his parents left him in a Hong Kong boarding school named as Chinese Opera Research Institute for studies and they moved to Australia for job purposes.

He studied Martial arts, acrobatics, drama and singing for the next 10 years is a very disciplined and punctual environment. He was also punished at poor performances several times. In 1962, when he was only eight years old, he performed in his first film ‘Big and Little Wong Tin Bar and then he started his journey to many musical films. 
 
Personal Life:
In 1982, when Chan was 38, he married to Taiwanese actress Joan Lin. Couple welcomed Their first baby boy Jaycee Chan Joming. Jackie Chan was approached in scandal with former beauty pageant winner Elaine Ng Yi-Lei and their daughter Etta Ng chok Lam was born on January 18,1999. Chan can speak English, Cantonese, American languages, Mandarin, some Korean, German, Spanish, Thai and Japanese. He likes Football game and supports some footballers. He was inspired by Bud Spencer and Terence Hill.

Career:
In 1971, when Jackie was graduated, he was offered a work in movie as stuntman and an acrobat. When this movie was released he became a star and made formidable Lee in film industry. In 1973, at Lee’s sudden death, he remained single in his profession and as the emperor of Hong Kong cinemas. After that he started work in a series of kung fu movies till late 1970s. as Chan was a big fan of Lee, but with the passage of time, he decided to come out of Lee’s circle and to make his own identification.

In 1978, He released his first bona fide hit ‘Snake in the Eagle’s shadow’ and after one year of this release he became a confirmed star when he made kung fu comedy ‘Drunken Master in 1978, ‘The Fearless Hyena in 1979, Half a Loaf of Kung Fu in 1980 and The Young Master in 1980. There was a time when Chan was the highest paid actor in Hong Kong and a superstar in all over the Asia. In the start 1980, Chan entered in Hollywood industry where he gathered not much success.

In 1980, his movie ‘The Big Brawl’ was flopped. He also played little supporting roles in ‘Cannonball Run’ in 1982 and its sequel in 1984. He remained prominent in movies such as: ‘Project A’ in 1983, ‘Police Story’ in 1985, ‘Armor of God’ in 1986, a hit movie ‘Mr. Canton and Lady Rose in 1989 and ‘A Pocketful of Miracles’. Later on, in 1986, he made his own production company. During the production of movie ‘Armor of God’ in 1986, after falling down more than 40 feet, his skull was fractured. In the start of 1990, Jackie turned into a small dramatic performance.

In 1995, a series ‘Jackie Chan’s Spartan X’ that hit in both Asia and U.S. in which he performed as his own comic book character. 1994’s production of Chan, ‘Pulp Fiction’ made him a long lasting superstar and this was awarded with lifetime achievement award at the MTV Movie Award. In 1996 ‘Rumble in the Bronx’ his fifth English (dubbed) released. The film earned $10 million in first week. He made in 1997 ‘Jackie Chan’s first strike’ in 1998, ‘Mr. Nice Guy’ and ‘Rush Hour’ also in 1998. In 2000 Chan performed in action and comedy film ‘Shanghai Noon’.
